2011
is turning into a breakout year for Lars Callieou. His 1-hour
comedy special will be airing on the Comedy Network this summer.
He spent most of February entertaining the troops in IRAQ (his second
tour) and in May made the cover of SEE Magazine!. Lars has
created contagious laughter at the FUNNYFEST INTERNATIONAL COMEDY FESTIVAL over a number different years! He's been featured on XM Radio, CBC TV and Radio (The Debaters),
CTV and Shaw Cable. He's been a familiar voice on air in Edmonton
over the last five years, hosting his own comedy radio show on CJSR
88.5 FM Wednesdays at midnight. In 2008 he was a Finalist in the
Seattle International Comedy Competition and has even taken on a
starring role in a full length feature film that debuted at the 2010
Edmonton and Calgary International Film Festivals (he reprised his role
in a sequel that was shot April '11). Having performed at
hundreds of clubs, corporate events and colleges he's become an
overnight success in just 8 short years. |
